Challenge
An international sports equipment client wanted to understand the fit and comfort of one of its pipeline shoe designs. In addition the client wanted to evaluate if there was any variance between the stated size and the actual fit of the shoe.
Approach
A 2-step product evaluation took place in France with 2 styles of
shoes (one style per gender).
- Step 1: instrumental measurement to validate participants
- Step 2: user evaluation
- Ad-hoc questionnaire on key attributes
Outcome
Analysis of the raw data confirmed that both shoe designs fit the size requirements of the consumers effectively.
