Our client wanted to relaunch their skin care products to make the brand more accessible and relevant to consumers.
Consumer research was required in the UK to substantiate key on-the-go claims.
Respondents were pre-recruited to a timed test session to establish base-line skin feeling, i.e. before applying product. Product was then applied and skin feel rated after a short period of time.
Respondents then took the product home with them. Recalls of skin feel were requested at hourly periods during the first day using SMS.
Over the proceeding week, respondents continued to use the product involving diary completion. On the final day of the test period, respondents completed an on-line recall using the diary as a memory aid.
The client got a clear understanding of the efficacy of the products, as well as impactful claim data to use in-market.
