SAM Sensory and Consumer Research is excited to present our latest research at Pangborn this August!


Thorsten Guksch, SAM Data Scientist Manager, and Adam Curtis, Managing Director UK, have an oral presentation with our latest research in AI: “Synthetic consumers in hedonic tests: how to enhance insights without compromising robustness”

and Lise Dreyfuss, SAM Innovation Manager, will share also in an oral presentation on our latest work on quality: “Filtering the noise: Assessing outliers and their influence on consumer data”

 

Alongside our 2 oral presentations, SAM has 5 research poster exhibits in Philadelphia!

 

Adam Curtis will present our research poster: 

"From purchase intent to realistic insights” exploring how to bridge the gap between liking and purchasing by testing two innovative, real-life inspired approaches to uncover true market potential.

 

Pushan Tagore will share our research on: 

“Personality meets product preference” introducing a novel psychographic scale designed to capture how personality traits and cognitive styles influence consumer choices.

 

Megan Aubrey will showcase: 

“Read & Rate: a new agile approach to understanding consumer expectations in sensory research"

 

Joyce Lizzi will present 

“From first bite to aftertaste: a neuro-sensory approach to texture perception in plant-based meat”

 

SAM will also share insights from a collaborative research poster with Marcia Petit, Tate & Lyle: 

“Decoding crunch and crisp – Linking chewing acoustics to texture perception in crackers."
