Trainee Research Executive /Panel Leader

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead one of our sensory panels
  • Preparation of tests (organisation of sessions, & samples, preparation of test questionnaires)
  • Conducting sessions (descriptive profiling, temporal assessment and discrimination testing)
  • Follow-up and control of panelists’ performance

 

Other:

  • Assist with statistical analysis and data visualisation
  • Support with writing reports for the client
  • Active participation in the management of the facility (test planning, product supply etc.)
  • Participation in the quality assurance process
  • Close collaboration with other members of the team to support the wider business as required

 

Your profile:

  • University degree, ideally in food science, social sciences, psychology, statistics or economics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  • Confident handling of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong social skills, enthusiastic team player
  • Experience in project management and/or running a sensory panel would be desirable
