Role Summary:
Reporting to an Associate Research Director or a Research Director, a Research Manager is the primary contact for client communication before/during/after projects and owns and delivers full research projects.
Role Responsibilities:
- Act as Key Account Manager for select clients, managing communication throughout project lifecycles
- Lead and coordinate complex research projects independently, from brief to delivery
- Develop study proposals and recommend suitable methodologies and approaches
- Prepare cost estimates and support contract negotiations
- Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality research outcomes
- Write insightful reports and present findings with clear recommendations
- Moderate expert panels and oversee panel performance, analysis, and action plans
- Align project execution with company strategic objectives
- Share client feedback
- Collaborate closely with internal teams
- Optionally manage junior staff such as Technicians or Panel Leaders
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' higher education with knowledge in market research and/or sensory research
- Some experience in market research or sensory research
- Knowledge of food and/or cosmetic products, quantitative and qualitative consumer research methodologies, sensory methodologies and statistics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Italian
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Rigorous, responsive and proactive
- Strong organisational and planning skills, that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines
