Responsibilities
Reporting to a Research Manager, Senior Research Manager, an Associate Research Director, or a Research Director, a Panel Leader is responsible for the execution of sensory testing.
Your Panel Management responsibilities include but are not limited to …
- Lead and supervise sensory panels, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Recruit, train, manage, and motivate sensory panellists.
- Organise and prepare sensory tests, including scheduling, sample handling, and questionnaire setup.
- Conduct various sensory evaluation sessions
- Liaise directly with clients to coordinate panels and provide session debriefs.
- Assist with statistical analysis, data visualisation, and report writing.
- Monitor and support panellist performance and contribute to quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate closely with sensory, research, and data teams.
- Ensure all activities align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile
- University degree, ideally in food science, social sciences, psychology, statistics or economics
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a sensory or quality assurance environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French. (English is also advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coaching panellists and coordinating with teams.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines
- Rigorous, responsive and proactive
Desirable Traits:
- Experience in project management and/or running a sensory panel would be desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Empathetic, patient, and clear communicator.
- Confident in giving feedback and facilitating group discussions.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project needs.
