Martin Kern received his masters degree in Enology and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Science from the Justus Liebig University, Giessen. His background includes experience in the general management of various companies in the wine and spirits industry in Spain and Germany, and as Export Director and Head of Research and Development in the mechanical engineering sector.

Since 2006, he ist Managing Director of SAM Sensory and Marketing International - Branch Germany, located in Munich.
