On January 1st, 2006 the SAM group standardized the names of all member subsidiaries with the new title "SAM Sensory and Marketing". These include the SAM enterprises in Barcelona, Mannheim, Milan, Munich, Paris and Zurich. With our new name, we would also like to emphasize the significance of our solutions for marketing problems - an area we have strengthened in our performance portfolio.
At the same time in Germany, we have officially merged the ASAP Gesellschaft für Sensorische Analyse und Produktentwicklung GmbH (Munich) and the SAM Sensory and Analytic Measurement GmbH (Mannheim) into SAM ASAP Sensory and Marketing Germany GmbH. Two years after the takeover of the ASAP GmbH by the SAM International group, we have thus maximized the synergies of these companies for the German market. Management has been in the hands of a single director since January 2005, and now the companies' remaining business areas have been consolidated. Our staff members will continue to serve our clients from our offices in Munich and Mannheim. To better meet our clients needs with regards to project inquiries in Northern Germany, the setting up of a test studio in Hamburg is planned for 2006.
